Fully against, children need to have male and female rolemodel for sociological/psychological development.

Even when normal pair who cant have children are adopting, they need to show they are good role models.

Child that has 2 daddies of which one is more 'flamboyant" LOL, or 2 mommies of which one is butch, certainly doesn't have appropriate platform for normal development

No.....although i imagine not many of them want them anyway and another thread opened up as an excuse for gay bashing and insulting homosexuals under the guise of "Should they be allowed to adopt kids"etc is not really called for.

The fact that there are so many children up for adoption and in orphanages is the real problem and not who wants to adopt them.

I am against it. We all ready have enough problems with dead beat dads and moms. A child needs a masculine figure and a feminine figure. Society is trying to force civilians to tolerate homosexuality. Homosexuality is a mental illness.

I'm torn in two about this issue.

YES
The child will have two parents. There are many hetero couples who have kids who shouldn't, who abuse and neglect their children. An adopted child is a wanted child and will probably have more love and security from this couple than that some children get from hetero parents. Children need to "practise" gender roles and this is done with both mom and dad.

NO
It is unnatural for two people of the same gender to have children and will also send mixed gender roles to the child. Ideally a child should have a mother and a father, although from a scientific view we don't have enough evidence to prove that children from same-sex parents are at a disadvantage - we have to wait for children from these unions to grow up first as the majority of them will not be much older than 5 now.

There are millions of single mothers (and fathers) who raise children on their own without the child being able to practice gender roles with both parents.

I don't know...
I'm not against it per se, but I'm not for it either.
