I had a lot of insecurities when entering high school. I don't think I am fundamentally different than most people in that respect. I lost my virginity at 16. Many of those insecurities vanished and were replaced by confidence that I would be able to perhaps navigate 'real life' successfully. It was a big 'growing up' milestone. Did you read the study? It shows that those with higher and LOWER than average IQs are more likely to be virgins.

Probably due to social awkwardness and lack of opportunity as opposed to
outthinking our animal instincts.

But honestly,when the low score is 30% and the high score is 40%. It really isn't a strong correlation one way or another.
To say, as you did that virginity is EQUATED with higher IQ is misleading and just as accurate as "Virginity is equated with lower IQ"

virginity is a question of choice,we can't judge and blame or bashed anyone for being or not more being
there is my point of view why having casual sex or "one night stands" there and there without any kind of deep feelings and involvement,as a hobby,it's proven than faithfull partners have a better sexual life and better sexual satisfaction than others
