There is no European unity. Mentalities between European nations are already far too big between each other. Europe has 50+ countries, there are much greater divides between them than say between East Asia which has only 3 ethnicities. Heck, you have three different linguistic branches which further split into multiple other languages. A Russian east of Moscow will probably find a Kazakh slightly more familiar due to historical interaction than a Brit. Likewise, a Greek will probably have a closer mentality to a Turk than a German. So it's all relative. There's already the massive East-West divide within the continent that is the aftermath of a brutal Cold War period.

There's no Slavic Civilization. Slavs are widespread and divided between 3 civilisations: Occident, Orient and the Russian World. Therefore Slavic unity neither would make sense neither would be a desirable thing.
