Minsk

Quite possibly my most favorite city in Eastern Europe. I went there once with a Belarusian friend a few years ago. I loved it! The city was laid out splendidly with lots of open spaces and a gorgeous architectural style. You could see Soviet influences with Stalinist and less often, Brutalist-style buildings but also a lot of "traditional" architecture.

Here's a few pictures plucked from google and you can already see the city is truly amazing and tastefully built with an unique charm. The city is probably one of most overlooked cities in Europe. More people should take the opportunity to tour it!

Looks similliar to Kiev on this photos, i know that Kiev looks better then Moscow, but not sure about Minsk since i wasnt there.
