I used to be glass half empty

But over this year I've become glass half full. Sometimes I revert briefly.

Maybe getting old is actually a good thing

Glass is half full, because glass can only be filled by human activity while it is made as an empty object.

I always thought that was a stupid analogy - if a glass is only half way filled up it's usually because someone is on their way to drinking the rest, so it's obviously half empty.

It depends; if someone filled up the glass halfway, then it is half full. If the glass was full to begin with, and then someone drank or emptied half of it, the glass is half empty. So, it is the previous state of the glass one has to concider. Was the glass full or empty to begin with? I would ask around and look for witnesses

I am a half glass empty person during the half of year when I contemplate my dark side in autumn and winter and a half full glass person when I enjoy my life during spring and summer

Glass half full. Though ofcourse I get blue moments over things that are disappointing, naturally, but I try to eventually dig for something even slightly positive.
