I think this applied more to the women of earlier generations who were generally not as independent as they are now, unless they're basically just self-centered model types trolling for positions as gold digging trophy wives (whores).

Now, it's a good idea if a man makes sure he isn't being used for some other ulterior motive(s). I've been used by numerous women I encountered during my life that I mistakenly thought were interested in me for me. This included being used as a stepping stone between their divorce proceedings, and their lives with their intended new 'loves', a substitute daddy, transportation, housing, protection, an extra paycheck, and even a bottle of Jack Daniels whiskey... Now there is a story behind each of the 'ulterior motives' I revealed here. But I think you understand what I'm basically warning you younger men about. Don't let your little head lead you into a world of deception and a lot of hurt. Think about where that sweet squeeze may be leading you with your big head first.

Another thing I've learned about women. When it's over to them, it's over. You need to suck it up and move on with your pain, because they're already over you and have gone shopping with their 'friends'.
