I guess the national hat would be the 'nisselue'

We have many traditional hats that go with the bunad(or national costumes), here are some men's hats that I like:

Tam O’ Shanters is a 19th century nickname for the traditional Scottish bonnet worn by men. It is named after Tam o' Shanter, the eponymous hero of the poem by Robert Burns.

"Kilmarnock bonnet" is a traditional Scottish hat that can be worn as part of formal or informal Highland dress. Dating back to at least the 16th century.

The Glengarry Bonnet . It is normally worn as part of Scottish military or civilian Highland dress, either formal or informal, as an alternative to the Balmoral bonnet or tam o' shanter.

....and various other types out there inbetween.
