    Iceland is a strange place to plant trees but for us it is one of the most logical places to try and bring back forests. In this video we tell you a bit more about the context around our projects and also some concrete details on how we are planning to plant 1 million trees here.

    Binaural recording of Skógafoss in Southern Iceland for sleep, study, relaxation and focus. This video is not looped, although it's simply just a recording of a waterfall. This has been my favorite waterfall since my first visit to Iceland years ago. I woke up around 5:30 AM to record the audio for this video. It was so dark and my hands were totally freezing. I was expecting rain, but things cleared up quick. The video was shot at 8AM right before sunrise and the big tour buses started to show up. After a moment, it becomes white noise. Enjoy! I'll be making some changes to my channel. More nature and less city to respect the privacy of people. I hope that's ok. The goal of my channel has been to always show people this beautiful world we live in and inspire people to travel. Have a great day!

    Finally arrived in Iceland after getting stuck in Germany for a day. The walk shows some of the shops and restaurants in Downtown Reykjavik and ends in Hallgrimskirkja. I'm actually testing out my new binaural microphone so wear headphones. This is my 3rd time visiting Iceland. I love it so much here. I'll be hitting the countryside soon for stationary videos, but I always enjoy spending a little time in Reykjavik. Enjoy!

    In this video, we are putting the Icelandic Lupin debate under the microscope to try and find out the good and the bad about this invasive species.

     ABOUT THIS VIDEO
    ===============================

    Lupinus Nootkatensis was introduced to Iceland in 1945 and since then it has been a source of debate for the Icelandic people. Is it an Invasive species? Yes. Should it be removed? This is where it gets a little more complicated…and it’s this question that we want to explore in this video.

    Lupin has both positive and negative consequences in Iceland and it’s important to analyse both sides of the story to get a better grip on the truth. Lupin can be used as a tool for reforestation but it can also have severe consequences on the land. So what are your thoughts on this fascinating plant?

    Windy Sunrise on Black Sand Beach on the South Coast of Iceland. It was so windy I completely destroyed my gimbal. Overall I'm so happy to finally be back in Iceland and hear the sounds of the ocean. So much wind. I wasn't expecting this. More videos to come. Enjoy!

    Remastered scenes showing Iceland in the 1930s. First, we see the capital Reykjavik from the air. Next: Street life in Reykjavik with cars and people. M/S "Dr. Alexandrine" at quay. Everyday life in the harbor. The bus station. Hot springs and large outdoor washing in a hot spring in a "washing machine". Modern swimming pool in Reykjavik, open-air swimmers and a private swimming pool. Horses in the countryside, farm with cattle.
    Fishing is Iceland's main industry. The herring fishery alone brings in DKK 20-25 million for Iceland in a few summer months. Seascapes with many fishing vessels. Schools of herring ripple the surface of the water. Boats cooperate with the net and catch herring in a circle, they 'tighten' the net, and large quantities of herring are lifted from the sea. The cargo is sailed into Siglufjord, Iceland's headquarters for the herring industry. Working life and great bustle in Siglufjord. The different work processes for men, women, young and old are depicted - herring is cleaned, salted, and put into barrels. Sunday promenade in Siglufjord, where there are mountains of herring barrels.
    When autumn approaches, sheep and horses are driven together. Flocks of sheep and horses are kept in paddocks.

    On the westernmost point of the Snćfellsnes peninsula in West-Iceland, there is Svörtuloft, a lighthouse, and a 4-kilometer long cliff. You can visit the place when the weather is calm and the tide is low. Visiting this cliff in the summer season provides an amazing view. The formation of the cliff at the Snćfellsnes peninsula is quite spectacular. The dark black lava cliffs attract a large number of tourists from across the world and throughout the year.
