Hard to say considering he has had just 1 fight in UFC, he will need several more wins to get to Adesanya.
1 win against Izzy in kickboxing doesnt equal hypothetically beating him in MMA fight.
Besides from Blachowiz winning on decision the only guy that seemed to give Izzy a really good fight was Vettori. Gastellum did too sort of but iirc Izzy came back with a vengeance. The Yoel Romero fight
was a dud uneventfull fight from both sides.
Would be interesting however to see Izzy fight Alex Pereira who knocked him out when they fought kickboxing back in 2017.
Izzy is a really elite fighter these days though , I think he could legit possibly beat Jon Jones tbh.
Alex would have to be pretty special to beat Izzy, but lets see how he does in next couple ufc bouts.

Very dominant fight of Volkanovski, im optimistic he will be a problem for the lightweight champion.

I didn't see this post before. I say yes. Their fight will basically be a kickboxing match. Neither one will mix wrestling into their game to throw the other's game off, which would be smart, out of pride.

I don't care who wins but whoever loses will be taking a big step back. Some losses aren't so bad. Some can be devastating for a career. When Eddie Alvarez lost to Cerrone he didn't suffer a big step back, for example. His next fight was with Melendez who was at that time still a contender.
