I have no idea why I have duck lips, perhaps it is connected to my cheeks pointing forward. But I would like to find out where weird faces like mine come from Actually my side head also looks a bit like the bad guy "Dorian" from The Mask (1994) forgot his real name. That pastey drug addict look hahaha

Since there are some people with somewhat overgrown cheeks in my family, I would believe it's just individual variation, and that the tendency for projecting chins causes this phenomenon.
Somehow, I'm just not surprised to hear this. I have family members who have been teased for having less gracile/harmonious features.
But I would say East-nordid with a dinarid tendency.

To be honest, I have faith that you probably know all this more that I do. It sounds like there's another layer to it all that I'm still yet to know. There's a difficulty I find trying to really see myself, I don't have "a look" the same way I don't have "a smell", as it's what I know as normal. Buy what I do know is that at a quick glance my mind shouts "Ukrainian", for being a darker blonde, and some people say Polish or German. I believe there is what I have come to know as a slavic look of sorts, maybe mongoloid. The high widish cheekbones giving me a triangular look at an angle, yet square from both front and side. The back of my head is flatter than most, like east baltids. But you say this could happen with phenotypes genrally. My face looks very similar to the German "Ostbaltish" Screenshot_20220903-002907_Chrome.jpg, just more chin. And from the side, the cheeks aline with a curve on the fore head just like me.

I know what you mean though re dinarid. It's certainly got me thinking. The occipital is flat too, nostrils yes, but ridge of nose no, ears no, hair (typically no). I wonder if teeth are a good indicator of phenotype?
