My North Asian, East Asian and Amerindian seem to vary a lot from project to project. Maybe it's something ancient and hard to pin point?

Same with me. I do have real but distant Native American ancestry. It's either Siberian, Beringian, East Asian, etc. at times. I think the new MDLP World calculator finally picked it up correctly!

Yeah well Sami don't have Y-DNA Q1a3, so the Q1a3 in South Norwegians must have come from another source.

Maybe the Huns? I also just read that some Saami/Lapps seem to be in a very rare Haplogroup I*-M170 which of course is neither I1 or I2. But most Saami seem to be in N1c and I1 with quite a few in R1a also.
