    Default What kind of work-out do you do ?

    I try to keep myself fit with nordic walking, swimming and fitness. Two times a week: I considering going everyday but since I will be busy with my studies (from September onward) I will need to reschedule.

    Compared to regular walking, Nordic walking (also called pole walking) involves applying force to the poles with each stride.     To be honest, I am a fitness junkie. I tried everything you can imagine, almost all sports but what definetely shapes your body is weight training.

    I go 4 times in the week to Jiu Jitsu training. Every friday I go swimming for 2 hours. And I don't know if that counts as work-out but when I have free time I go often for a walk in the forest to relax.

    I am just commuting (velo) home-work-home, 5days/week/4 seasons (12mi/18km x 2 = 24mi/36km daily = about 5,000+mi/8,000+km/year).
    I do put my millage here: http://www.worldcommute.com/ (Group with name "Just Commuters"). In Dallas, TX and Detroit, MI I did it not every day, but in Orlando, FL I do it each working day (5days/week). It's OK for me, I do not need any extra physical activity and I am extremely recommend it for everyone who take time in the car or public transportation. At least it's a big fun.
