Tri-racial is a slang for New Worlders who carry European, African and Amerindian ancestries. It is more commonly found in Caribbean Latin America but they exist throughout all the American territory, from Argentina to Canada. Adriana Lima seems to carry all the three components that classify her as "tri-racial". In a simplistic way a tri-racial is a Mestizo with African input.

And she is French, Portuguese, Japanese, Swiss, Native American Indian, African, Afro-Brazillian and Caribbean. So everything basically lol.
