Beautiful Greek athlete expelled from Olympics for "racist" tweet

Greece's triple-jump champion was expelled from the Olympics after posting a tasteless tweet about Africans and the West Nile virus.

Hellenic Olympic Committee officials announced Voula Papachristou wouldn't travel to London after she tweeted a joke about African immigrants.

On Monday, the track athlete posted a tweet reading, "with so many Africans in Greece, at least the West Nile mosquitos will be eating food from their own home." The comments created an uproar on Greek social media. Papachristou didn't address the criticism on Twitter for two days.

Greece later announced it would place Papchristou "outside the Olympic team for statements contrary to the values and ideas of the Olympic movement."

The Olympics are just a parody to me. All I see is niggers representing European countries. If I was black I would feel uncomfortable to present a country I have nothing to do with. I just watched some "European athletic championsip" in Helsinki and there the Netherlands (just an example) were presented by four niggers and no whites (from what I saw). Instead of giving a chance to young European talents the European countries choose some random niggers. Same goes for the Olympics... if you are a nigger go present some African country instead of European one. Tragedy

I don't even see how that's "racist". All she did was acknowledge that there are hordes of illegal immigrants from Africa (who are usually criminals) in Athens. I guess some people still want to pretend like there's no problem.

Greece’s Democratic Left issued the following statement regarding Papachristou’s comments:

“Racist humor and ”jokes” concerning human lives are not tolerated by the Greek society, can not thrive in Greek athletics. The least the Greek Olympic Committee can do now is to revoke Ms Voula Papachristou from the Olympic Games. Watching the Olympics on TV screen, she could do as many vile ”jokes” she wants through the social media. But for sure, she can not represent Greece in London.”
