    Default Macedonians named SRBIN

I would like to point out to our members of this forum of the fact that Macedonians were naming their male sons SRBIN and not Bulgarin, Balgarin or Bolgarin. Here is some Macedonian sources that were quoted from Ottomans:

Vilayet of Veles, village of Jabolchiste:

„Novak Burhanin,; Tome Belche, Bogche, Todor, son of Belche; Hrchko, brother of Pecko; Pejo, son of Danche, Vlkashin, Srbin; Gjurash, Srbin, Rade Stari; Dojchin, his son; Gjorgjo, son of Rade; Rale Momchil; Hrlo, son of Dapko; Brajko, son of Kovach; Ivan; Stale, son of Stojan; Rale, son of Stojan; Stepan, Srbin; Dabe; Pejchin, son of Rade...”

village of Dobrushevo, Vilayet of Prilep:
„Bogdan Srbin; Marko, his son, Dimitri son of Gruban...Dimitri son of Srbin; Todor son of Srbin, Pejo son of Rajcho...

village of Sopotnica, northwest from Krushevo:
”Ivanish Stale; Stanisha Mano; Petko, Srbin; Petar, Srbin; Stajko Srbin...„

village of Divjaci, northwest od Krushevo:
”Jandro, Srbin; Miho son of Srbin; Dimitri son of Srbin, Petko son of the priest...„

    village of Volkoselo, nahiya of Prilep;
”Bogavec, Srbin; Stanisha son in law of Bogdan...Stanisha, Srbin; Pejo, son of Tonchin...„

As you can see readers, it wasn't confined to the general concept that mainstream holds, that is, small Serbian influence to the North-West. This naming phenomenon was noted to have occurred in ALL regions of Macedonia. As l have mentioned here, this naming phenomenon did not happen during the Bulgarian Exarchos period from 1872 to 1912, but before when THERE WAS NO SERBIAN INFLUENCE.

What amazes me is Serbs from the Kosovo and Metohija (where l hail from), Bosnia and Montenegro never named their own children in this fashion, only people from the Macedonian areas!

Serboslavian propaganda. Jabolchiste was an Albanian Muslim village, and I can't find information on the Volkoselo but I did find information Dobrushevo, Sopotnica and Divjaci... and all inhabitants of those villages were Bulgarian Exarchists!! To become a Bulgarian Exarchist you had to identify as Bulgarian which is what those people did!!

    Jabolchiste:

    Dobrushevo

    Sopotnica

    Divjaci

^ Propaganda, sorry, this is Macedonian sources. Besides, why do Macedonians have the SURNAME SRBINOVSKI, because their forefather carried the first name SRBIN.

Really, really funny, the source is in front of your eye and typically, its scoffed as propganda.

^ Again, remember, this PHENOMENON was occuring before the Exarchists began their work in Southern Serbia. Do you want me to open another topic and talk about the Exarchists?
