There are a concerned group of whites,who are slowly revamping some buildings,but before 2010 it will as before now.
The upkeep is not controlled and I am afraid that the BEE consortium,just are unable to mix cement 6:1.

The synagogue and the once famous hotel(Carlton Centre) is left alone for now.

The inner city is being lovingly restored. There are still parts that are very run down, but it's great to see how beautiful our city is becoming.
