Why do we exist?

Seriously, there is no ultimate reason to exist. The entire human race will die out soon and everything is ultimately meaningless and pointless. we are nothing, and we will leave nothing behind. The only reason why we exist is for hedonistic irrational pure brute pleasure that means absolutely nothing the very instant it is over.

Because we are destructive, arrogant creatures that upset the balance of nature. It is strange that we alone cause so much to happen to our planet, so we question why we are here.
