I'd say they are both western and eastern, the high frequency of Y-DNA N3(now N1c) also show that they have origins in the east.

Well, there's a difference. The Saami just adopted a Finno-Ugric language, but were from the West/Basques. While the Finns/Finno-Ugric were from the South, from modern-day Southern-Ukraine to be precise.

I'd like to know if there are reliable sources about the average height associated to the various european phenotypes.
When phenotypes were called "subraces" anthropologists provided the corresponding average height but it was a lot of time ago (at least 50 years) , and in the meanwhile average height increased much due to better diet and stuff like that, so those data are now unreliable.

I think the phenotypes correlated with the highest average height in Europe are Dinarids and Faelids.
Nordids can be tall too.

I'm wondering what is tall and very tall NOWADAYS. For exemple, the height of a woman 1.73 what suggests?? Could be dinarid, nordid or whatelse??

Any idea about the average height? I mean, for example, dinarid 1,85 m average? Berid 1,60? Alpinid 1,70?

I mean, when we see Faelids, Borrebys and Brunns with muscles, we attribute it to their diet and exercise. But when we see Gracile Meds, Halstatts or Pure Dinarics with bulk, we attribute it to steroids. Is there anything like correlation of muscle mass with subrace?
