I agree. If my hypothetical woman is very radical in her beliefs, there might be a problem. But most "Muslims", especially in the West, are really moderate. Many drink alcohol and do not care about what their spouse believes in etc. ... the same goes for Christians.

One could argue that these people do not really represent their religion, and I'd agree.

In the end, I could imagine marrying a muslim, a christian, a pagan, an atheist or agnostic woman, as long as she suits my race.

I could never, under any circumstances, imagine marrying a negroid or mongoloid woman and having children with her, as I want my children to look like me.

If your religion is important to you, I think marrying somebody of the same religion is best. You should also be sure you're compatible with the other person's expression of that religion. For example, a traditionalist Roman Catholic probably wouldn't be happy with a cafeteria Catholic. A seriously religious would be aware of that.

I wouldn't marry somebody of a different religion.

As long we find common ground I would be good but the more distant her beliefs are the more difficult it gets I have a good friend who is in the free church im in the orthodox and catholic churches we do find alot of common ground to the point we do not really appear as different religions we also pray together and sometimes talk about the holy Bible I think that's because I'm a Christian free thinker who interprets faith much himself not strictly traditional orthodox or strictly cultural orthodox and she is too

I absolutely agree with Mortimer. I'm okay with any religion what is generally accepted around the whole world. For example my grandma was Catholic and my Grandpa was Protestant and they went to both churches, so did I.

Anyway, talking about non-Christians, I would accept the religion of someone else as long as they respect my views too. But the chance of me marrying someone who is Non-Christian or even Non-European is very low I think. I think I'll end up marrying a Christian or Non-Religious Hungarian (by Hungarian I mean fully European too), but who knows, possibly in 20 years I'm going to find this out.

I'm OK with non christian or non religious but there is a difference to anti religious and anti christian though there is atheism but there is also a extreme type of anti theism

As long as it doesn't interfere in our daily lives or becomes a turning point in our relationship, I guess.

    I don't think I would date/marry a Muslim, though. Not compatible enough - I'm agnostic myself.

I started to believe in Pastafarianism, looks like a good religion. The book that I'm reading now is ,,The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster'' by Bobby Henderson.

What do you think about this religion? Please, read a little about it here just to get the basic idea: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Spaghetti_Monster

One can be open minded and respectful and try your best to make things to work, but if both are very religious it's gonna be hard in the long run. It's all fun and games until children are involved and both have to opt in which religion you are gonna raise your kids.

Yes, but, what do you mean, i would even go Amish for love! I am joking! Love can not do everything, because, we're also have to respect the love we give to our soul!
So, practically, if the woman is not really practicing, why not. I mean, my religion is a holistic (holy ? x) faith, i try to connect directly to the "source of life". So, for me, it is something that is connected to the wholeness without some kind of literal limitating religion stuff. So, if the woman tends to limits (i mean, too much) the vision of reality, i can not marry her. Moreover if she would convert me. Religions and ideologies are grids that we place between us and the reality. It tends to explain it and maybe gives some meaning to it, but, sometimes, it limits it! So, if she only have a religion to better herself, there are no problems!
