I wouldn't marry with even deist or atheist. Only possible option is moderate-secular islam.

I thought about this alot in my life and I came to this conclusion: someones religion doesn't say much about someones personality. Some fellow 'muslim' guys behave worse than idk, christians or something (where I live at least). I don't want to generalize someone based on religion and my mom has taught me this as well.

I don't want someone who is way too extreme with religion as well.

You are right, actually i think so but also i can get along well with a deist and if he respects my religion, i do not think that there would be a problem.

Things are changing on my parents’ side. They would be ok if i find someone Shia Muslim but a Deist would be most likely a problem for them lol

Of course yes if he show respect to you there shouldn't be problem. I'm just exaggerated selective. My parents would say Christian is better than Shia. Indeed i would prefer to marry with Christian rather than Shia.
