Religion to me is only as good as the person practicing it. We are all human beings, faith does not make one greater or lesser in my opinion. I respect anybody who has self discipline, a sense of community and who fears God. Islam is just a sect of Christianity which is just a sect of Judaism. I have read all three (4 if you break up the Torah), studied the various denominations and sects, met people of all different faiths and have never liked anyone more than the other that was a good person.

Exactly. I like good people. Religions are fascinating and important. But they also cause a lot of problems.

I only care about how people act.

Your faith does not mean much to me when you are a serial child rapist and talk at the movie theatre.

So I’m gonna change my answer to no.
I dated an Atheist for a few years and although it was okay for the most part, our religious differences separated us big time when our son was diagnosed with his illness.
I’ve realized whenever I settle down with someone I would prefer him to be at least a little religious.
