Depends on how adamant they are about it. Since I want children when I’m older, I don’t want to be with someone who is a religious fanatic, especially because I’m not religious.

Well, mine's a bit complicated. I mean, I am a Christian and all, but I'm a crypto since I pretend to be a Muslim to others, but deep down my true religion is Christianity. My girlfriend's a Muslim which is why really I can't tell her that I'm a Christian since Muslim girls cannot marry with non-Muslim men, and I'm afraid I would lose her if I told her of my true religious beliefs.

I would, but I'd make sure she knows that I wouldn't be able to convert since if I pretend to convert or pretend to hide my Christian faith to her. I'd be riddled with shame and guilt that I don't honestly believe I'd be able to stomach all of that internal sense of betrayal.

No, not if they were to actively practice it. The only religion I would tolerate slightly (my preference being irreligion, or I suppose agnosticism/atheism) would understandably be Judaism. I'd probably marry a "traditional" believing Jew, assuming she shared most of my values.

Yes and no. Just as Blondie said, it depends on the religion. I am currently dating someone who believes in buddhism. No big deal, as far as I can tell. It seems to me that it's more pragmatic and provides a more, sort of practical lifestyle and it's not based solely on dogmas. I like her philosophy about life.
To make this clear, I'm not against any religion or anything. Despite my age, I also experienced cultural and religious differences with other people. There are religions that I am not able to live with completely when it comes to relationships. And there are more neutral ones (like buddhism) which I even find sympathetic.
