    Yes, the Ancient Greek population wasn't wiped out so it is safe to say the genetics from the ancients spread to contemporary.

    yes, obviously they are not totally the same as the ancient Greeks but it is clear that they are their direct descendants, together with southern Italians, Cypriots and partially Albanians, anyone who says otherwise is clearly biased, It's funny that populations so similar genetically (Greeks and Albanians) hate each other so much, something similar between Serbs and Croats etc. It seems like a typically Balkan thing, in fact they are the best threads because there is always a climate of permanent semi-war, very fun

    I'm Greek and i agree with you that Albanians are partially descended from Ancient Greeks.
    The Talmud tells us that the only language the Torah could be translated into elegantly is Greek.
