I would say Ireland, I find Irish model Rozanna Purcell mad sexy:

Other than that, I haven't ever met a girl from the Isles, only this guy who's a great & loyal friend.

I thought that was much of the British isles and England outside of the Eastern half? Atleast most Brits that come here or the famous actors who migrate here aren't really necessarily blonde viking gods.
Send me dms asking me to classify you, i'll have Barbarianna of Barbaria here put a few holes in you. Then I'll take this guitar and smash it over your head.

They look a bit different. Welsh often have brown hair / brown eyes and tan more easily than Irish.
Irish can have the above attributes too but also often have ginger or black (very dark brown) hair with blue eyes. The Irish seem to have a greater diversity of looks than the Welsh. Wales is only around the size of New Jersey after all.

I take it that both the Irish and the Welsh have the same ethnic base. My guess is the genetic additions made them different. My understanding is that the Welsh are more homogeneous. Their darker features likely match those of the early inhabitants of the British Isles.

I'm not sure if mixing is the reason. Norman then English have been the main groups that settled amongst both.
There is the Norse input in Ireland but many of them (Dublin Vikings) were expelled and fled across the sea to NW England.
Wales also had some small Irish settlement in the dark ages around Gwennedd (NW Wales).

I think looking at paternal haplogroups is perhaps what we're doing wrong here. Female DNA is usually much more diverse, we should be wondering whether the differences in phenotypes was brought about by differences between women.
Phenotypes don't follow haplogroups but any differences in them does suggest different initial populations and thus differences in appearance. I'll look into it latter when I have access to a computer and some time.

I'd expect Irish women to be more Mesolithic hunter-gatherer and the Welsh to be more Neolithic, but there may be few differences at all.

The Welsh have less input from more recent invaders than the other groups but the English and Scottish have a lot of haplogroup I. 'I' is thought to be descended from the older inhabitants of Europe but ironically most of it in Britain is from Germanic invaders.
