These were one of the biggest cities in the Bulgarian empire. Read the whole article.

I find nationalistic and romanticised history literature of Bulgarians very boring

Kvarc, would you expect an 18 year old hyper-nationalist to know this. History has told me that there were some un-assimilated Greeks living in South-East Serbia, so the name Pirot absolutely makes sense. Majority of the toponyms in the Balkans ARE of Greek or Roman origin (basically zero Albanian) and some slavic. Many Greek and Roman toponyms were Slavicised.

PS Armani has to post a Bulgarian printed map, and guess what, they conveniently have the Kuber fabrication centered on Vardar Macedonia, absolute nationalists they are......freaken reminds of their FAKE STONE INSCRIPTION.

from Greek toumpa, meaning "high peak". Also mountain peak on Belasica, between FYRM, Bulgaria and Greece, village near Serres, and mountain peak on Chios island.

If there are some toponyms with tatar-mongol roots in Serbia than they are bulgarian for sure.

There are almost 25 000 ethnic Bulgarians in Serbia (and around 700 000 with Bulgarian origin). How much are Serbs in Bulgaria? 300? I don't have anything else to say.

    only 700 000, I thought it`s at least 1 500 000, but most probably there at least 10000000000000000 Bulgarians in Serbia !
