Lightbulb Do you live in the center of a city?(social status)

This is about the western world.
the question is: Do you live in the better part of a city? as in a high personal economical average for the area. is your family wealthy? Academics? what is your main interest at forums like this one? Political beliefs?
I'm interested in what type of people that share the same interest as me.
I do not need any mad member(not coming from the desired area) yelling cosmopolitans are inferior etc etc.
See it as a study, please help me do it.
    Sorry for any inferior English.
    Thank you!

I live on the countryside and derive partially from a former aristocratic family.
But we are not wealthy anymore because after WWII most of our goods were confiscated and my ancestors had to leave the castle they once possesed.
So now there is no extravaganca anymore and I live in a normal standard house far from a major town but in the middle
of nature which has advantages but also disadvantages like everything in live.
I don`t actually intend to move to a town because I am not familiar with the rumour and crowds and so I would feel quite inconveniant. Perhaps if my own economic situation or academic ambitions force me I have to leave for a major town nevertheless, at least temporally.

I joined this side because I am intrested in the issues which are brought up and I wanted to improve my poor English.
Prodigies appear in the oddest of places

Yes, I live in the "Inner Core" of my city. Where big things happen. I love so much the excitement of the concrete jungle!
