    Nikola Tesla was ethnic Serb born and educateed in Croatia which was part of Austria-Hungary at that time, and he attended German language grammar school in central Croatia. Later he was educated in Graz and Budapest and finally USA.

    He has absolutely nothing to do with Balkans apart from his origin and if he was born in Balkan country he would most likely never become a scientist.
