I think Mizrahi Jews, and the majority of Gulf Arabs are purest Semites. Ashkenazim are impure, Sephardim are almost none semitic but euro - latin converts to judaism.

IM what do you mean by semitic?
Semitic language originated with afro-asiatic E1b...many "Semitic" people today don't even descend from this group.
To be semitic in phenotype you mean? Like stereotypical large nose, black hair, dark eyes, fair skin, slightly hunched stature?

In all, i guess it depends, you have many different kinds of jews, and many different kindos arabs.
Some arabs would be more semitic than some jews. And some jews would be more semitic than some arabs.

Seriously though, there's many things to address in regards to the question itself. To make it short, however, Arabs from the Levant are much more pure genetically than Jews generally. It's important to note that there are many different groups of Jews as well (Ashkenazi, Sephardi, Mizrahi).
