good looks don't follow hair style. most of the times men look good or bad with both short and long hair though they may look slightly better with one versus the other. however it's all in the facial bone structure for men, above pigmentation and hair styles. even bald, a man with a good facial bone structure will look good

Yes, it does -- ones' face shape should inform a person on their ideal range of haircuts, facial hair styles, hats and glasses/sunglasses. It is true square faces can be pretty versatile when it comes to hair styles but , for instance, a triangle face can look good : with the right styling, the triangle face shape can evoke strength and authority when highlighting its strong jawline but without proper styling it throws it off and can look pretty bad like an egg head or conehead.
