I watched the movie LEGEND yesterday and that gave me the idea for the thread. Because the main actor fell in love with a woman, she then committed suicide, but he still loved her and had with him 2 plane tickets to Ibiza, where they planned to fly before she died. He kept it in his jacket pocket until his death. That's what I call his wife for life, his great love and then I realized that I've never loved a woman and she me, I only had a few sympathies that I like a bit when I see but that's not love, nothing happened there either, nothing romantic, not made love, not even kissed. Didn't live together, etc. I assume I'm maybe too old for the love of my life, for normal she should come into your life in your youth, partnerships that are concluded with over 40 are usually not great love but partnerships of convenience, both already have adult children etc.

Same here Mortimer, I have the same feelings if I watch Turkish series. But I never know whether I should cry about dont living out an unrealistic love story or not beeing blond, having light skin and blue eyes like the actor. Don’t give up, jeder Topf hat einen Deckel.

I really doubt that anyone is capable of really loving until they are old enough.

What happens is that when we are young, we call love something that has more to do with other things...

Anyway, love, glory, fortune... all of that is but a moonbeam.(Sorry, it is a reference to a story by a Spanish romantic author, unless someone has read it, it might not make much sense, but I think that it express very well what "love" actually could be)

While family may have been the founding unit society was built upon, that is not so much the case today. With government checks replacing men, divorce running rampant, having multiple children from multiple partners, and outsourcing children to day care, modernday families are rapidly becoming temporary breeding arrangements rather than stable, long-term, loving relationships.

Most men and women are not marriage material with about 0.5% of women being marriage material. So I just fuck and chuck women.
