You need a entire redefinition.
About who gains what.Who loses what.

The only thing that worths something in Macedonia is Ohrid,the rest is a land Bulgaria can do without.

The bad thing in this case is that Ohrid isnt near the border.

Importing 1,2 million brainwashed macedonists and 800,000 muslims...it will be suicide.
After that you need a strong rebulgarization propaganda on all state levels to return them to reality.

Dues automaticly opening the door to them for EU and NATO.
Reciving a territory with no resources.

The ones in the diaspora are 'more' of everything.
They are motor behind the ancient story...

The ones in todays FYR Macedonia are antibulgarian.
Majority are.

And becoming even more antibulgarian in the last years since Gruevski is in government.

But again it depends.
Even I was surprised to see that there is a a strong probulgarian community in Ohrid...so called bulgarophilles as they call them here.

For a federation to happen in the first place we would have to straighten out the disputed parts of history beforehand.

And it doesnt deserve to be saved,not until macedonism is the main ideology.
