I used to watch this on TV! Sometimes watch 'Country House Rescue' aswell. I remember in my childhood, we also used to own a large historic 'Manor' house. As a young boy I would sometimes get myself lost in there, as there were so many rooms! It was also a creepy place. Some of our workers / tenants died there, and all in the same spot. It was very sad, particularly when a good family friend died there. He was an Englishman, and was like a family member to us. We ended up selling the property for a very low amount (fraction of what it was worth).
