While it is possible that the loss of ejaculatory fluids lead to the loss of vital life force, resulting in premature aging, disease, and general fatigue, providing a specific formula to determine the maximum amount of regular ejaculations in order to maintain health is advisable.

Some Taoists still believe that one should never ejaculate. The general idea is to limit the loss of fluids as much as possible. Through the centuries, Taoists have given less importance to the limiting of ejaculation although "retention of the semen" is still one of the fundamentals of Taoist sexual practice.

This lawful opposition plays itself out on the "battlefield" of sexual relations and is expressed as the playful conflict between sexual adversaries. A conflict, by the way, in which man is weaker than his "strong enemy," and where the Kung-Fu of ejaculation control is developed as a way of remedying this imbalance of sexual force.
