Anti-sex tourism gang attacks Turkish man in Ukraine

An anti-prostitution group in Ukraine has attacked a Turkish citizen who had called for a prostitute by phone.

The group, known as Defacto, went and attacked the man at his address after he called a fake phone number for prostitutes that had been left by the group in a public place.

Defacto, which fights against sex tourism in Ukraine, forced the unidentified Turkish man to wander around streets in Kyiv in a bathrobe with a placard saying “Stop Sex Tourism” on it.

The group posted video footage of the incident on the Internet, stressing that they wanted to prevent a growth of sex tourism in the country.

The Turkish man has not filed a complaint, but police have reportedly launched an investigation into the video footage.

1. The only thing the man utters is "from Turkey" in an Ukrainian accent.
2. Although he was supposed to be disgraced in the video, his face is carefully concealed.
3. No Turkish citizen filed so much as a complaint.

It looks like a fake one because we never see the face of the man, not even a hint of his face. He doesn't fight vs them properly, it`s like he lets them tide him up. He never speaks while they do that either. When they ask him where he is from, he answers something like "Turke" which is abnormal for a Turkish speaker. He should have either said Turkey in English or Türkiye in Turkish spelling but not "Turke". The cameraman is also unusually calm, he films quite professionally without any rush or excitement.

Ukrainians are probably doing this to intimidate sex tourists and ofc they pick the Turks because it`s quite known that whenever a Turkish guy goes to there, they hang out with prostitutes. Ofc everyone who goes there does the same but probably the most sex tourists comes from Turkey.

Tough, they have to fix their poor state to stop sex tourism. I mean, whenever there are poorness in anywhere, then there will be sex tourism in that place. They cant stop it by doing this and what about 1000s of Ukrainian women who works in Turkey by selling their bodies?

Sorry to break all of these bullshit to you, but he made an interview with Turkish TV and apologized to Turkey and Turks, but avoided to state whether what's happening in video is fake or real. I feel with him but I think it's not only him who needs to apologize here, but whatever.

"I am sorry if I offended the Turkish nation. I just wanted to defend the honour of our women. A lot of people from different countries come to our country for prostitiuon. It's only up to us to scare those individuals away. Our target wasn't neccesarily Turks, we don't target any specific nation." Contrary to this, Golovin also complimented Turkey and stated; "I am an admirer of the Turkish flag that got its colour from blood, aswell as its history and meaningful symbols on it. We know the respected place of women amongst Turkish men from Suleiman the Magnificients' wife, Roxalena." Golovin avoided stating whether the what happened video is real or fake, saying "Let viewers decide".
