The goat and her three kids (2022)
An atmospheric horror movie. The interesting thing about it, is that it's based on a very popular story for children. The animals in there story (the goat, kids, wolf) were replaced with human characters, but the story line remains quite faithful to the original.
A mother that losses two disobedient children to a sadistic murderer. And she takes revenge on him, in quite a gruesome way.
The whole plot and ending was very predictable, no twist was added. The characters in the movie, had the potential to be developed a bit more, compared to the story.
The movie has lot of symbolic images that build the atmosphere. I liked the care to details, which reflected the village life, the location they chose for filming, the music. Also the actors played well, especially the youngest of the three brothers.
So, not that bad for a Romanian movie.

I'm finding that interesting premise, bad execution is true for most "Shudder originals".
I probably will still watch it anyway.

I did not fight for the slaves, I did not fight alongside the slaves and you are not little Russians here in the Balkans, as some like to say, but you are big Serbs back home. And you should remember that.

The Zone of Interest (2023) Torrent is out, so anyone can see it for free.
Film is very good. I rate it 8/10. Excellent cinematography and camera, and very subtle in every detail. Acting is convincing.
There is no real plot, and it's not exactly entertaining, but I think such a film should not be. It does not judge, just shows what happened.
Very minimalistic and laves a impact. Ending is weak, but otherwise, three class better than dreadful Oppeinheimer and similar films.
