Tesis from 1996, it's a good Spanish thriller.

It was worth watching Twin Peaks to the end and spending a little time for comprehension.
In general, a good series, I take my words back. With its amazing retro-lamp style and atmosphere. There is no desire to look for any shortcomings at all. At first I thought that the series was scary, there were corpses all around, everyone was walking around serious and in costumes, but no, the film was even funny in places.
Thirty plus years have passed, and people are still under the impression, discussing the characters and their behavior - probably a sign of quality.
Let's take a look at Lynch's other work. Moreover, I heard that his characters drink coffee and eat pies in all of his works.

I pulled Tommy off of my DVD shelf. When I first saw it as a kid, I dismissed it as nothing but a few music videos strewn together. I later learned that in 1975 music videos were in their infancy and this movie was somewhat of a trailblazer. I bought the DVD in a Ken Russell phase.

Part of it is wild, part cringeworthy, but never boring.

Someone here has said that Lynch is not so original as people may think, as his movies are all similar but I disagree. He has a style that you can easily recognize. It's so difficult in art to make up your own style. I find these small details that show up in all of his movies very interesting and well thought. He's not lacking imagination, he does it on purpose. It's his personal touch. I think every artist should find his own personal style and stick to it. Otherwise you're just an amateur trying to find your own way.

My personal two favorites of Lynch are "Lost Highway" and "Mulholland Drive".

What you say is very true, but Lynch's "wheelhouse" is smaller than many filmmakers. He is very distinctive and he does things no other director does. He basically created his own genre. Tarantino and Aronofsky did this as well. If Lynch's films don't speak to you, they are all going to blur together. It is no different than if you don't like suspense films, you aren't going to have the intellectual curiosity to pursue Hitchcock. The same is true for horror movies and Argento.

Here is an analogy from music that might or might not make sense. I love German opera and I can yap people's ears off with minutia about Weber, Wagner, Berg, etc. However, Italian opera doesn't speak to me in the same way. There are a handful of them I know and listen to. But the rest just blur together. I recognize the brilliance of Puccini and Verdi. but other than their "greatest hits", I'm at a loss.
