Two very good British films from the early 60s:
The Angry Silence (1960)

Billy Liar (1963)

Also Midnight Express (1978), worth a watch, if only for the great Giorgio Moroder soundtrack

I watched the Children of the Corn 666: Isaac's Return, completely unenjoyable, i have no idea what did the makers want with it. 1-10 I give one point, because seeing Isaac was nostalgic, but thats all. Dont watch it.
The next movie was The Great Silence, very good spaghetti western by Sergio Corbucci, with such legends like Mario Brega and Klaus Kinski. 8-10

I need to get grounded so I watched a comfort movie.
I wouldn't call it a "western" per se, but it shares the same setting of a desert town.
It is one of those films that doesn't make a lot of sense, the first time it is watched. Every once in a while, a roman numeral will flash on the screen to tell the viewers that a new chapter is starting. This only adds to the initial confusion. It takes that whole "man with no name" trope in a direction that most would never suspect it could go.
As a matter of fact, I am not well at all.

I'm not a fan of the western genre (unless modern), or the horror genre (unless classic, sci-fi, or post-apocalyptic),
but you might like these, or maybe you have seen them already:
The Bad Batch (2017) Mad Max-type film
God Is A Bullet (2023), this is NOT a joke, these demons are real, I have encountered them
Revenge (2018), best female revenge film I think, and I have been in a similar setting 2 good trailers

Slap Shot
I watched this movie because of the character Ogie Ogilthorpe who was based on Goldie Goldthorpe. Goldie Goldthorpe is Colonel Frank Grimes Avatar.
I also bought a biography called The Real Ogie!. It's on backorder.
I watched a few YouTube interviews and read a news article from The Hockey News.
Bill Goldthorpe: The Man, the Myth, the Legend

I watched 2 scary flicks:
Late Night with the Devil, some sort of found footage film but set on a TV studio:
And Immaculate, like Rosemary's Baby but priests and nuns included:
Nothing revolutionary or paramount but both were quite fun.
