Firstly cigarettes have ammonium nitrate in them which helps them burn but frees the nicotine from its base, like crack cocaine vs cocaine hydrochloride.
This makes it more addictive and the worst offenders are the fast burners.
One lights them and they are gone before one has even smoked them, Marlboro in particular.
When I smoke, I smoke cigarillos. I do not inhale and it tastes nice.
Stop smoking cigarettes, even high quality brands.
Smoke cigarillos if you must...
I smoke Café Creme Blue. Good enough for me.
Lettuce, Gruyere, Bacon and Tomato Pride, WorldWide!!

I smoked for 12 years and stopped smoking because of my son who was born this year and I did not want him to grow up seeing me smoke.
It was very difficult, because I confess that smoking was a habit that I loved, knowing the evils.
I tried to avoid things associated to smoking.
Always try to occupy your mind, have a good diet and exercise. It helps a lot if you really want to stop

Meh,is not because of natural tobacco but because most cigarettes are made with tobacco that have added different chemical substances plus the paper used for these contains plastic.
So the taste for these cigarettes is quite nasty, you can feel the plastic taste.
I think you should try get some natural tobacco and paper without plastic and try smoke that.

Well shit dude. Life's short. First off no matter what anyone tells you here are the cold facts.
You are already addicted to life.
If you wanna quit just quit, stop whining about it!
You ain't gonna live forever, you ain't gonna be healthy forever, you ain't gonna be young forever, you ain't gonna be good looking forever. Are you seeing the pattern?
If your concern is your health, well are you in for a surprise! The main thing that determines whether you will be healthy or not is your genetics. If you have good genetics your body can deal with a lot of crap you put it through, if you don't, the healthiest choices in life won't save you. It is that simple.
Your genes and your mind will make you sick and will make you healthy. Your mind is the key to all your well being mental and physical.
You don't have to believe or take seriously what I just said, but it is the truth.

I started smoking heavily again recently the past couple of weeks. Went from 5 a day, to 10 a day, to 15 a day, to 20 a day. I'm switching to e-cigs/nicotine vaping though as soon as my e cig comes in the mail. It's pretty cheap (you can refill you own cartridges. It's like $10 for a supply equal to a carton of cigs and you can fuck around with different flavors) and should satisfy the anxieties/habit of smoking without most of the negative repercussions.
I jog and do all that stuff. My lungs are actually pretty good despite my habit. I hadn't smoked in probably 6 months or so but started up again when stress got to me. It sucks. When I do the cold turkey thing it's just way too much added stress on top of everything else. I've pretty much decided I need nicotine even though it's a pointless waste of money, so e cig is the best thing for me. I've used gum in the past. Don't like it. I've tried the patches and hate them. I was using snus before I started smoking again but buying that stuff from Sweden every couple of months is too expensive. E-cig is the best bet most likely. I would suggest other smokers give it a shot as well (And research. There are different things you can use that are better than the big name marketed ones like blu etc)
