Historically, the pistols they used in 'duels' were inaccurate. It would often take a few shots before you got your enemy. And once you got your enemy, you had to wait for their turn!
This would usually go on until someone gives up or collapses / dies.
Sword fighting requires skill, and there's no guarantee you would be against an amateur (assuming your one) such as yourself. :icon_wink:
