Just to put things into persepective this is Grozny, our capital city, during the war in 1995. Please don't try to tell me the Russians were carefully picking their targets and aiming only at the resistance fighters.

If you knew anything about the Chechen War, you would know that Russians living in Chechnya started leaving in masses after 1991 when Chechnya declared its independence. Yes Grozny is founded by Russians and of course there were still Russians living there, but they were a minority.

On second thought, if Russia was willing to completely level Grozny to the ground knowing that there were Russians living there it just goes to show how humane Russia is.

Are Beslan's children better than Chechen children? Beslan used to happen everyday in Chechnya it just wasn't shown on TV.
Imagine what it was like for the thousands of Chechen children during the war who are never seen in pictures or shown on TV.
Estimated 250,000 civilians killed including at least 20,000 children and this is only an estimate. Nevermind how many seriously injured or impaired for life. And as I said earlier it doesn't only have a physical effect on us but also mental.

My family came to be in the same with Grozny’s Russians situation after 1991. Asians wanted to make an ethnic cleaning in our predominantly European city, but local authorities proved to be able to avert it. But I know what it is when people start leaving their city in masses and your argument seems to be doubtful. It was a very difficult task for at least 210,000 Russians who lived there, especially when one does not has money and another place to move in. It was impossible for the majority of them to leave the city up to the siege in 1994.

Some slogans from "independent Ichkeria":

"Русские, не уезжайте, нам нужны рабы" (Russians stop leaving, we need slaves). "Не покупайте квартиры у Маши, они всё равно будут наши!" (Do not buy a Masha's apartment, eventually it will be yours for free.)

You consider Yeltsin's Russia to be a Russian nationalist Imperial state, and this is very laughable since it explains that you know nothing about modern Russia and Yeltsin.
