Haplogroup H1b

Here's the only map i could find specifically of haplogroup H1b, from Disuniting Uniformity: A Pied Cladistic Canvas of mtDNA Haplogroup
H in Eurasia.

I'm interested in this haplogroup because it is my paternal Grandfather's, although i don't know how it got there.

Seems that this peaks at about 5% of haplogroup H, which is something like 40% in Britain. However in Britain, it seems to only be at about 1-2% of total H. In the article it says the percentage is given in respect to H, so i assume that means H1b is about 0.4-0.8% in Britain. Although if it doesn't mean this i guess it's 1-2%.

Here's what Wikipedia says:

'Its subclade H1b is most common in eastern Europe and NW Siberia.'

But even so, quite strange - Is there anyone on here with H1b mtDNA?
