This thread will serve as the official coffee thread of The Apricity.

Here you are able to express the feelings you hold for the beverage; you can share the experiences you've had and plan to have, and post pictures on the cups drunk.


Firstly,



We Swedes love our coffee. We drink the (second) most coffee in the world, we drink stronger coffee than the Americans and we drink better coffee than the Italians.



How do you drink your coffee?

All types, cappuccino to black coffee, milk and not milk, but sugar is a must...or else blehh.

I make my own cappuccino just with plain coffee (nescafe), just shake the milk carton well, shake the jar of coffee, add the coffee and sugar, pour the milk and voila! Straight into the fucking microwave.

Strong turkish coffe style is my favorite but its a big kick in when you drink. Usually i drink without milk and ofc. with sugar. I add lots of coffe naturally and i cook it in džezva. I was told by someone that Turkish coffe from Turkey isn't prepared same like i do altho i dunno on what basis is this true;

If I drink coffee it's for the caffeine, not for the ritual or enjoyment. Never cared for it much but when I do drink it, I prefer it through a Chemex or French Press. Actually, I do like Cuban style coffee and for the boutique places, Starbucks, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Peet's are all pretty consistent.

Well, sometimes I do taste raw coffee and it does taste good .

Yes something like that. Basically what you must do is when it starts to boil you put džezva away and let it cool and put back on fire for re-boil. This is do usually three times and very quikly.
