    The slavic word for young unmarried woman, Devojka, does have same roots as the word Diva.

    in Greek:

    boy = αγόρι/agori derived from ''άωρον>άγουρον/aoron>agouron'' which means unripe/immature
    girl = κορίτσι/koritsi derived from ''κόρη>κορασίς/kore>korasis''. Kore was used for statues of young girls in ancient Greek.

    These two are the only similar terms to the Lithuanian words that I've seen in this thread so far.

    Boy: berniukas, bernas
    Girl: mergaitė, merga
    Child: vaikas
