I think the original LOTR was much cooler and more epic. The hobbit felt like a failed circus. I guess my expectations were to high and got disappointed.

Been a while since i've read the book, the bits they used directly from the book were accurate, and they added some extras from the back plot of Middle-Earth. I felt they made it slightly too epic, but it was very good.
9/10 from me.

Watched cam version. Maybe its becouse of extreamly bad quality but to me its average movie. However its true i don't like movies with stupid action scenes like the way they fell many kilometers down the mine with that bridge. I mean that was like among the stupidest movie scenes i ever saw.

Yeah lol i didn't like the bits like that. I know it's fantasy but it has a good footing in reality, and that was a bit too stupid i agree. Most of the rest was good.Originally Posted by Žołnir

Yeah i think i should re-watch high quality this cam version was dark as hell.

I think it was an accurate adaptation of the book, at least until now. Let's see how the next two movies are going to be.
