Are Caucasians With Dark Brown Eyes "Less" White Than Their Blue-Eyed "Cousins"?

I was watching an episode of the pretty-good show "Suits" when it occurred to me that most of the main cast, although white-looking by Northern European standards, -and even dark-blonde or ginger-haired- have very dark brown eyes.







Two of the show's actors are married in real life and have a very blonde child



My question is; Are European Caucasians with dark-brown eyes less white than their blue-eyed "cousins"?

The answer to the OP is not hardly.

Europeans originally had brown eyes.

Persons with brown, blue, or any matter of light mixed eyes are equally European in my opinion.

Thafor the answer. I'm not sure why some people don't like the question. I think it's perfectly reasonable given that the main difference between Europeans and Indids and others is pigmentation.

I disagree. I think "whiteness" is more of a physical/aesthetic thing than a genetic thing.

Genetics have a lot to do with physical appearance. Anyway one cuts it, the question of who is white has an Anglocentric bent. It is a word in English, used in the English colonies, as self identification. An "us vs them," mentality. Of course it has to do with ethnicity, or at least passing as such.

Black haired, dark eyed northern euros are whiter than blonde haired, blue eyed Jews.... but all are Caucasians. White =/= Caucasian. "White" has an Anglo, NW European descent bias. The further away one's ancestors are from the English, the less white someone is.

A blonde blue-eyed Jew is only less white than a dark northern European based upon the bias you define for whiteness.

I agree but caucasoid was problematic because of Indids etc. White is a general term for the "European" subraces.

Biggest idiocy ever. Anyway, AngloJew, you didn't know there are other types of light eyes Gray, Green, light-Mixed (various mixes of three light types )

I specifically said DARK brown eyes because (with some minor geographically linked exceptions eg Syrians) all other eye colours (Green, Hazel etc) are linked to European populations anyway.
