turkey, mexico and israel no true democracies

turkey, mexico and israel are being thought as democracies but a report about press freedom says something different.

Turkey and Mexico worse than Russia and even Singapore is now worse than Russia.

Israel worse than mali.

You also can see how estonia lost 8 places while latvia gained 11.

Ummm, this measures freedom of the press, not democracy. quite misleading.

i never said that i said israel is worse than mali. Mali actually lost 74 places and has still a higher press freedom than israel despite their sharia warlords in the north.

Press freedom is probably one of the most important parts when it comes to be a democracy.

i just wanted to point out as russia is portrayed by the western media as dictatorship sometimes even worse than china because of suppressed press and so on. Remember anakovskaja??

yet many countries are worse than russia which are presented as democracies by our media when it comes to freedom of press. What do people think about russia if they hear the countries name and now think what people think about Singapore? Its like complete different worlds. We dont hear about how Singapore is surpassing their journalists.

Even israel is not so great as well as many southern european countries as people think despite of course being better than russia.
