I like to ensure that the base foundation and concealer is nicely applied and powdered, and I like to highlight the 'milk line' a little bit:

LEARN THE ART OF OPTICAL ILLUSION

Use a light-coloured pencil and draw a careful line just above the edge of the ‘cupid’s bow’ on your upper lip, advises Richard Hawkins.
‘This replicates the “milk line” — the white, second lip-line that you see along the edge of babies’ plump lips. It catches the light and gives the illusion that your lips are fuller than they are.’

    Also, the philtral column:

    This gives a youthful appearance.

Then I take some tinted vaseline and apply a little bit to the lip and remove any foundation/base/concealer/powder leaving a nice sharp edge.

    I do not use lipstick.

Tinted vaseline, base around the lips to create a nicely defined lipline, and a highlight for the 'milk line' and philtral columns.

EagleAtHeart, I use simple Kryolan stage make-up, and since when was titanium dioxide bad for one?

I can't use vaseline, or any heavy petroleum product, including most lip glosses. They make my lips crack and peel. I guess I'm allergic or something.

Normal lipstick usually doesn't bother my lips.

Really? Funny because vaseline is the only thing that helps my lips from cracking, peeling and hurting in winter. I have really bad lips in winter and I've seriously tried all sorts of lip balms but nothing helped..except for pure vaseline.

I always make sure to have this one with me (yeah I know they sell them in pocket size also )

I look like shit with red lipstick for some reason, while red clothes suit me well. Go figure.

I find that blonde people can wear red lipsticks perfectly. They look stunning with red lips.
