Default Ghosts: Do you believe they exist?

Simple question -- I'm sure we all have a view on that, and some of us have a story to tell. Here's your opportunity.

Yes. Not only have I always believed in souls and the paranormal, which has been enforced by my own spiritual undertakings, but I had a pretty strong supernatural experience around a year ago:

Shortly after I fell asleep in bed, I woke up with a start. When I opened my eyes, I saw a black shadow above my bed, somewhere towards the ceiling. Or at least, it was somewhere above me - just for a split second. I then realised that my bed was shaking with a definite rythm. The bed shook for about 30 seconds until I turned my bedside light on.

I even checked for possible earthquake aftershocks the next day and nothing. As a person who is cursed with an intensely rational mind, it takes a lot for me to acknowledge anything supernatural in what happened to me. It's in my nature to rationalize strange things - hence searching for news of earthquakes.

But then, a few days later at exactly the same time of night, again roughly 15-20 minutes after I fell asleep, I awoke to feel my bed shaking. At the time I likened it to the strange happenings a few nights before, but this time, the next morning it was plastered all over the news that there HAD been small earthquake tremors emanating from an epicentre a couple of hundred miles north. This news is what I had expected to hear the morning after the first ghostly bed-shaking experience.

    A prediction?

    Poor Vojvoda,must be quite scary.
I do not believe in ghosts, but I had a strange encounter with a woman, who did, in the Holiday Inn.
Here we were pronking along--from bed to bath to bed.
Exhaustion took over and I was in limbo, dreaming of a gin and tonic.
Next to me the woman suddenly started making noises, from aaahh to one orgasm after another.
I looked at her and could swear she was fast asleep, when I tried to wake her up,she moaned and groaned not to stop. I felt like Father Dougal Maguire-----stunned and stupid.
Next morning she explained that Dumpie and I were the best twosome lovers she ever had that night.
    Never touched her again.

WHAT??? This can't be real. Who the hell was Dumpie? Being seduced and exposed to wails of a damn old haunted pervertido... Oh those desperate days, Boerseun!

"Strange encounter" my arse. She most likely got stupidly drunk, noticed you "were in limbo", and wanted to squeeze these last sparks out of you and turn you on

I'm really unsure about this. I believe in souls, but in paranormal, hm, I'm trying to be pragmatic and reasonable. And, trying not to think too much about above mentioned subject

    Aren't souls paranormal as well?

Especially not when you're alone, late at night.

No, soul is part of us. And ghosts are lost spirits. Or my English is bad

Yes, in that case I need strong man's hand to keep my fear away.

But, really, I don't like those thoughts when I am in some closed space, as appartment, but in the nature, forest, field, ...don't care too much...There I'm quite free without anz fears, except thunderstorms (that I can't stand at all).

Which part? Can you see and touch it? If not, it must be paranormal. Science only recognises a "soul" of a person as being brain functions/awareness. If the brain dies or is destroyed, this consciousness which was perceived as the "soul", ceases to exist.

No, if something couldn't touch that not means it doesn't exsist. You couldn't touch a bacteria or virus but they exsis! Body is device, brain is softwer, and souls make us living creatures. Don't know where soul is spoted, but I believe all over us and in us.

    You are welcome

Thunderstorms are danger. Just think about how many cell phones you keep near you...

Do animals have souls too? They are living creatures too. And since you mention them ... so are bacteria.
