    I heard it was located in Skopje, Macedonia? Because of this convertion, her mother Katarina wrote in her last will, the kingdom of Bosnia is rightfully theirs if her children convert back to Christianity. If not, the kingdom is signed over to the Pope. Some say, that is why the triangle in our flag is vatican-yellow

    Queen Katarinas son,daughter and her brother converted to islam.Her son was Isa beg Kraljevic,he was one of the most important men in the ottoman empire,later on his son married sultans daughter.So bosniak royal family offsprings converted to islam and continued to be a important part of Bosnia

    The vatican thing is ,well Vatican took care of her,the fact is she gave away her children to her brother and she knew he will convert to islam.She accepted it because most of the ruling class of Bosnia converted,but of course she could not tell it openly while in Vatican.

    The turbe is Macedonia yes,some bosniaks want it back to Bosnia,i hope they will get it

    Back to Jajce, the royal tombs there? I remember there was an attempt to retrieve Queen Katarina back from Rome, an initiative at least. But, there was of course no political consensus. So nothing happened, again. I would also like to get back the charter (povelja) of Ban Kulin back home from St.Petersburg, it is after all the earliest document where Bosnia is mentioned as a sovereign state (and Dubrovnik too). There was a request fowarded to the Russians, but they refused even to lend it for a temporary exhibition...So I doubt that the turbe is going anywhere, according to past experiences.

    The main priority should be to get our national museum functioning again, and perhaps get more sites onto the UNESCO world heritage list, it should open up for funding and better expertise. Jajce, Pocitelj, Stolac, Bascarsija and so on...

    Here is a interesting video from Jajce, our medieval capital, with bosnian language and english subtitles;
