When I said "study" I mean a paper in a peer-reviewed journal, not some babbling of certain people in the mainstream media. There is no evidence of hybrid vigor in animals, let alone humans. Heterosis is usually limited to a particular plant species which has a fitness benefited greatly by cross-breeding, such as a resistance to insecticides.

Depends on what you're mixing.

The issue is, indeed, their methodology though. They enable politics to heavily influence their methodology to the point where they skew statistics or omit certain sample groups to achieve funds. And no, it wasn't a revision of the scientific understanding of race that changed their view point from eugenics of mono-racials to that of hybrid vigor, it is the politics which influence their research.

I dont think they are superior. I have heard of such studies that multicultural people tend to be a bit smarter, but over all by not much.

Maltese people are strong because they have a good mix of all Europeans and Mediterraneans .

I think they very well may be. And it is rightest propaganda to dismiss these claims immediately without looking into them further. Just because we may not be mixed does not mean we should turn a blind eye to things like this because we feel pissed off about what the truth is. I always notice how smooth skinned and fresh faced most mixed people look, and how nice their hair is. They often also tend to have very symmetrical faces.
